WALK-IN INTERVIEW FOR RECRUITMENT OF SENIOR RESIDENT DOCTORS & JUNIOR RESIDENT DOCTORS
Time and Venue : A Walk-in interview will be held on 28.1.2011 (Friday) for the posts of Senior Resident Doctors (three years tenure) & Junior Resident Doctors (One year tenure) from 11 :00 am onwards in the Administrative Block, NEIGRIHMS, Permanent Campus, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong 793018.
1. SENIOR RESIDENT DOCTORS for the following departments and the number of posts as mentioned against each: (i) Anaesthesiology-4 (2-UR,I-OBC,I-SC) (ii) Anatomy-l-UR (iii) Biochemistry-l-SC (iv) CTVS-2 (l-UR,l-OBC) (v) Forensic Medicine-I-OBC (vi) General Medicine-3 (I-UR,I-SC,l-OBC) (vii) General Surgery-2 (l-UR,I-OBC) (viii) Hospital Administration-l-UR (ix) Neurology-I-OBC (x) O&G-3 (2OBC, I-SC) (xi) Ophthalmology-l-UR (xii) Orthopaedics-l-SC (xiii) Paediatrics-3 (2-0BC, I-SC) (xiv) Pathology-3 (2-UR, l-OBC) (xv) Radiodiagnosis-2 (I-OBC, I-SC) (xvi) Urology-2 (l-UR, 1-0BC) (xvii) Community Medicine-1 OBC.
Essential Qualifications for Senior Resident Doctors:
- Postgraduate degree or diploma in respective subject recognized by MCI after obtaining a medical qualification included in the Schedule -I & II of the 3rd Schedule of Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the part -II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act).
- Satisfactory completion of the compulsory internshiplhousemanship in a recognized hospital.
- Candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council Medical Council of India.
- Candidates having experience in the respective discipline/subject will be preferred.
- Scale of Pay: ~ 18, 750/-+ Grade Pay -~ 6600/-+ NP A plus other allowances as admissible under the Central Govt. Rules in identical posts. Age limit -33 years.
2. JUNIOR RESIDENT DOCTOR: 55 (24-UR, 19-0BC, ll-SC & I-ST) for various departments:
Educational qualifications for Junior Resident Doctor
- Medical qualification included in the Schedule -I & II of the 3rd Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the part -II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act).
- Satisfactory completion of the compulsory internship.
- Candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
- Scale of Pay: ~ 15,600/-+ Grade Pay-~ 5, 400/-+ NPA plus other allowances as admissible under rules. Age limit -30 years

Eligible candidates are requested to present themselves for registration at 9:00 a.m to 10:30 a.m on 28.1.2011 in the Administrative Block, NEIGRIHMS. They wUl have to fill in their particulars in the prescribed application format and enclosed all relevant documents duly attested viz DOB (loth certificate)
