Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited, a Joint Venture of Government of India and
Government of Karnataka, is the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of Bangalore Metro Rail Project.

BMRCL invites qualified and experienced Engineers for a walk-in-interview for appointment to key senior and middle level management positions on deputation / contract basis. Retired employees from Government / PSUs, not more than 63 years of age, are also eligible to apply for the posts for contract appointment ( except for the IT, Systems and Receptionist posts, for which maximum age prescribed against the said posts will remain unaltered).


1. Deputy Chief Engineer – 1
Age - 55 years
Qualification & Experience - Graduate in Civil Engineering Should have worked at the level of Superintending Engineer or Sr. Executive Engineer level with overall minimum 15 years experience as Graduate Engineer

2. Executive Engineer (Planning) - 2
Age - 50 years
Qualification - Graduate in Civil Engineering Should have worked at the level of Executive Engineer or Sr. Asst. Executive Engineer with overall minimum 10 years experience as Graduate Engineer. Persons having experience in usage of Primavera software will be preferred.

3. Asst. Executive Engineer (Quality) - 3
Age - 50 years
Qualification & Experience - Graduate in Civil Engineering Should have worked at the level of Asst. Executive Engineer with overall minimum 10 years experience as Graduate Engineer, out of which minimum 5 years should be in the area of Quality Control / Quality Assurance.

4. Asst.Executive Engineer (Safety) - 2
Age - 50 years
Qualification & Experience - Graduate in Civil Engineering Should have worked at the level of Asst. Executive Engineer with overall minimum 10 years experience as Graduate Engineer, out of which minimum 5 years should be in the area of Safety

5. Asst. Executive Engineer (Works) - 7
Age - 50 years
Qualification & Experience - Graduate in Civil Engineering Should have worked at the level of Asst. Executive Engineer with overall minimum 10 years experience as Graduate Engineer.

6. Asst. Executive Engineer (Primavera) - 1
Age - 50 years
Qualification & Experience - Graduate in Civil Electrical/ Electronics/ IT/ Computer Science Engineering with Certificate in usage of Primavera software Should have worked at the level of Asst. Engineer for a minimum of 5 years and should have at least two years experience in the usage of Primavera software.

7. Assistant Engineer - 14
Age - 40 years
Qualification & Experience - Graduate / Diploma in Civil Engineering Should have worked at the level of Asst. Engineer for a minimum of 5 years or as Junior Engineer for a minimum of 15 years.

8. Security Officer - 1
Age - 50
Qualification & Experience - Graduate in any discipline Asst. Commandant with 10 years experience or Dy. SP with 10 years experience preferably in industrial security.

9. Security Supervisors - 3
Age - 50
Qualification & Experience - Graduate in any discipline At least 10 years experience at the level of Inspector in the Police Department.

10. Executive Assistant (IT) - 1
Age – 40
Qualification & Experience - Graduate from a recognized University One year experience preferably in Visual Studio 2005 with VB.NET Crystal Reports/ SQL Reports along with Oracle 10G or SQL Server 2005 or higher.

11. Executive Assistant (Systems) - 3
Age - 40
Qualification & Experience - Degree / Diploma in Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications Should have at least one year experience in Oracle, Database management. Knowledge of Unix, Linux desirable.

12. Executive Assistant (IT) 1
Age - 40
Qualification & Experience - Degree / Diploma in Networking / IT / Computer Science. CCNA Certificate desirable Should have at least two years experience in networking and system administration.

13. Receptionist - 1
Age - 40
Qualification & Experience - Graduate from a recognized University Should have atleast 3 years experience as a Receptionist / Personal Assistant in a Government / PSU with expertise in MS Office, internet and email usage.
