NOTIFICATION FOR RECRUITMENT OF CONSTABLE (BAND) IN RPF
EMPLOYMENT NOTICE NO.01/2013

Applications are invited from eligible male candidates for direct recruitment of Constable (Band) in Railway Protection Force (RPF).

Vacancies:- 18 (ST-1, SC-3, OBC-5 and UR-9)

Pay Scale:- Pay Band PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2000/- with various allowances as applicable from time to time.

Eligibility: -
a) Must be a citizen of India (Only male citizens are eligible)
b) Educational/Technical qualifications: (i) Matriculation or equivalent examination conducted by a recognised Board; and
(ii) 2 years experience in operational use of specified musical instrument. Ex-servicemen holding certificate in military music shall be permitted.

Application fee:- All candidates are required to send application fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Bank Draft in favour of Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer (FA&CAO), North Central Railway, Allahabad. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.

Note: (i) Cash, money order, cheque, central recruitment fee stamps etc will not be accepted.
(ii) Fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted.
(iii) Date of issue of Postal order or Bank draft should not be before the date of notification

Process For Application

(a) Application forms can be downloaded from Indian Railways official website www.ncr.indianrailways.gov.in, taken from the Employment News or other relevant newspapers.
The application forms may be submitted on A 4 size bond paper using one side only and sent to
IG cum Chief Security Commissioner/RPF, North Central Railway, Post Box No. 1-92,
Allahabad, PIN- 211015 (U.P.)
(b)The applications should be filled in by the candidates only in Hindi or English in their own handwriting with signature in normal handwriting and left hand thump impression of candidates.
Applications signed in capital letters/spaced out letters will be treated as invalid.
(c) Coloured photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms) should be pasted at the appropriate place with clear front view of the face without cap and sun glasses
