Unchahar Thermal Power Station was the first thermal power station constructed by UPRVUNL. It is responsible for generation, transmission and distribution of power in the state Uttar Pradesh.

Age limit – Minimum 21 years and Maximum 50 years as on 01.07.2012
Educational qualification – Four year Engineering degree in Electrical , Mechanical or Electronics discipline from recognized university.
 

2. Junior Engineer ( Trainee ) E & M Cadre

Pay Scale – Rs. 9300 – 34800 plus Rs. 4200 /- grade pay per month
Age limit - Applicants must be between the age of 21 years and 50 years as on 01-07-2012.
Educational qualification – Three years Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics from reputed institution.
 

3. Office Assistant Grade III ( OA – III )
No. of Vacancies – 03
Pay scale – Rs. 5200 – 20200 plus Rs. 2600 /- Grade pay per month
Age limit – 21 – 50 years as on 01.07.2012
Educational qualification – Graduation in any discipline from any recognized university with typing speed of 35 / 40 wpm in Hindi / English respectively and knowledge of MS word and MS excel is essential.
