Duties and Responsibilities

         

1)  Joint/ Deputy Director – Replication

Will be responsible for identification of best innovative practices, initiating discussion with all states for replication of identified best practices and provide the documentation support for the same

Key Functions:

• Realization of the Centre’s replication strategyScouting and tracing the best innovative practices
•  Identifying the practices worth replication in states
• Preparation and dissemination of exhaustive Case Studies with details for  replication
• Providing the hand holding support to states which intend to replicate an identified initiative.

2)  Joint/ Deputy Director – Dissemination of Information

Will be responsible for communication activities on information and media support regarding best innovative practices, dissemination of information compiled by the Centre on the best innovative practices and lessons learnt for CIPS

Key Functions:

• Realization of the Centre’s communication strategy
• Development and maintenance of relations with media;
• Preparation and dissemination of information on the Centre’s activities and achievements;
• Keeping track of the Centre’s publications in printed and web-based media;
• Preparation of information materials on best practices and lessons learned;
• Coordinating and monitoring the progress of activities w.r.t Dissemination of Information

Essential Qualifications
First class post-graduation or equivalent in any discipline
