Applications (8 copies) are invited for the post of Professor cum- Director in the Institute of Distance Education of the University of Madras.
Essential Qualification:
- A Ph.D Degree with at least 55% of marks at the Master’s Degree in any discipline in the areas of Humanities, Social Science, Science, Education, Commerce and Management and
- At least 15 years of experience in Teaching and Research of which 5 years experience in Distance Education[Academic and Administrative level].
Note: A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the Marks at the Master’s level for SC/ST category. A relaxation of 5% from 55% to 50% of the marks will be provided to the Ph.D Degree holders, who have passed their Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991.
Tenure: Three years.
Scale of Pay: Rs.37400-67000 plus Grade Pay of Rs.10000
