KOLKATA PORT TRUST
1. Kolkata Port Trust intends to recruit 2nd Officers (including 1 OBC) for Dredger & Despatch Service and Senior Hydrographers (On Training) (including 1 OBC) for its Hydrographic Service.
Candidates in possession of any of the following certificate of competencies issued by the Director
General of Shipping, Government of India are eligible:
a. 2nd Mates(FG);
b. B. Sc. Nautical Science;
c. Dredge Mate- Grade-1.
2. The pay scale and the training schedule for the candidates after joining will be as follows.
Dredger & Despatch Service
2nd Mates(FG)/ B. Sc. Nautical Science/Dredge Mate-Grade 1
Pay-Scale – Rs. 20600- 46500
Designation - Second Officer
Hydrographic Service
2nd Mates(FG)/ B. Sc. Nautical Science/Dredge Mate-Grade 1
Pay-Scale - Rs. 20600- 46500
Designation - Sr. Hydrographer under training.
The incumbents, in addition to their usual emoluments will also be entitled to LTC, Leave Encashment, Gratuity, New Pension Scheme, and medical facilities for self and family. Gross salary of the incumbent is likely to be approx. Rs. 40000/- per month including allowances.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as on 1.2.2011.
