Applications are invited from the candidates who are Domicile of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Lakshadweep Island for the post of Junior Assistant (Fire Service) NE-4 at various airports in the above states in Southern Region. Total number of posts likely to be filled is 244 and the reservations are SC-33, ST-13, OBC-70, UR- 128. The eligibility criteria for the posts is as follows

Vacancies – 244
Age - 18 to 30 years as on 13/08/2010
Relaxation:
(i) 5 years for SC/ST
(ii) 3 years for OBC
(iii) Length of service extended by 3 yrs for Ex-servicemen.
Educational Qualification
I. A pass in 10+2 or equivalent from recognized University / Board as on 13/08/2010.
II. Should possess valid heavy driving license as on 13/08/2010.
Desirable
ITI/Sub-officer Course/Experience in any Fire Service/BTC Course from AAI Fire Training Establishment.
Pay-Scale - Rs.5500-140-7180-160-10060 and other allowances as per rules (under revision)
