Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) requires the following personnel on contract basis for testing/project/consultancy and field testing works undertaken by the Institute :
1. Graduate Engineering Associates - General
Qualification : First Class Degree in Electrical/ Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Computer Science / Information Technology, Chemical Engineering, M Sc Chemistry, M Sc Library Science
Emoluments - Rs.16000/- p.m. + HRA as admissible
Experience - 1-3 years experience in the relevant field is desirable
Maximum age limit - 30 years
Location - Bangalore – However the candidates Should be willing to travel extensively on Field Testing Activity anywhere in the country, if required
2. Diploma Engineering Associates - General
Qualification - First Class Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics, Chemical Engineering, Library Science, B Sc Chemistry, B Sc Library Science Emoluments - Rs.12000/- p.m. + HRA as admissible Experience - 1-3 years experience in the relevant field is desirable Maximum age limit - 28 years Location - Bangalore – However the candidates Should be willing to travel extensively on Field Testing activity anywhere in the country, if required
Requirement of posts, discipline wise is as follows :
a) Graduate Engineers : Electrical/ Electronics – 14, Computer Science/Information
Technology -1, Mechanical/Metallurgy – 3, Civil – 2, Chemical – 2
b) Diploma Holders : Electrical/Electronics – 6, Chemical – 1, Library Science 2
3. RESEARCH ASSOCIATES – For UNIDO Project
Qualification - First Class Degree in Chemical Engineering/ M Sc in Chemistry with First Class from recognized University, Experience - 1 year experience in analysis of PCB (Polychlorinated biphenyl’s) content transformer oil using GC/ECD is desirable. Upper age limit - 30 years

4. PROJECT ASSOCIATES – For TPIEA-EA (R-APDRP) Project
Qualification : 1) I Class Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Desirable : Experience in power distribution, willing to travel extensively in Karnataka and working knowledge of Kannada.
Upper age limit - 30 years
Vacancies - 4
Location : Project Office, CPRI, Bangalore or any Project Office of CPRI in Karnataka
