National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research (an autonomous Institution under Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, responsible for co-ordinating the Indian Antarctic Expeditions) is looking for trained personnel preferably Ex-Indian Army personnel from EME/Engineers Corps on contract basis for its research base at Antarctica for the season 2010-2012 as per details given below:
1. Generator operator (EE Mech) – 2
2. Vehicle Mechanic (EE Mech) – 3
3. Boiler /Pump Mechanic (Plumber / fitter) – 1
4. Station Electrician - 3
5. Vehicle Mech (Tech B/C Vehicle) - 4
6. Operator Excavating Machine (Dozers & Cranes) - 1
