The HPPCL intends to engage unemployed youth of Himachal Pradesh for a period of one year only (without any extension whatsoever) subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions :

Apprentice Engineer : 33 Posts in various disciplines
Apprentice Executive : 11 Posts in various disciplines
Apprentice Junior Engineer : 10 Posts in various disciplines
Apprentice (Geologist) : 05 Posts
Apprentice Engineer : 33 Posts in various disciplines
Apprentice (R&R) : 05 Posts
Apprentice (Company Secretary) : 01 Post

Unemployed youth of Himachal Pradesh who wish to be trained in HPPTCL and fulfill the following criteria may apply:-

1. Apprentice Engineer (Elect.)
Qualification - B.E. / B.Tech. (Electrical) with minimum 60% marks from recognized Engineering College.
Vacancies - 04

2. Apprentice Engineer(Civil)
Qualification - B.E./B.Tech.(Civil) with minimum 60% marks from recognized Engineering College.

3. Apprentice Engineer (I.T)
Qualification - B.E / B.Tech (Computer Science/MCA) from recognized Engineering College with minimum 60% marks.

4. Apprentice Executive (Finance)
Qualification - MBA (Finance/ICWA/MFSC) with minimum 60% marks from recognized Institute.

5. Apprentice Executive (H.R Personnel.)
Qualification - MBA (H.R Personnel) with minimum 60% marks from recognized Institute

6. Apprentice JE(Civil)
Qualification - Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute with minimum 55% marks.

7. Apprentice JE(Electrical)
Qualification - Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute with minimum 55% marks
